Fridditch Returns

We are now deep in to the 2nd quarter, and things are rolling along. Parents of 7th graders can expect to receive copies of their student's Otis Lennon Student Abilities Test scores during the week of November 7th. Meanwhile, students will be enjoying a day off on Monday, November 7th while teachers are in inservice. During our extended weekend, we hope to see many of our current Lower School families on campus Sunday, November 6th for the Cherry Road Open House.

Meanwhile, students recently enjoyed another round of Harding middle school original sport, Fridditch. Dr. Tim Stafford, Bible teacher and Fridditch creator, worked hard to create an enjoyable sport that students can participate in multiple different ways. The sport is a blend of tag, dodgeball, and ultimate frisbee. And in the second round of matches, Houses performances were much more balanced, as they began to get a keen grasp of the rules. The out-and-out leader is Grit 'n' Grind House, off to an undefeated 2-0 start. Ironically, the only House yet to win a Fridditch match is Church House, of which Dr. Stafford is the sponsor. All the same, students have been enjoying the competition and having a chance to stretch their legs during the school day.
