Homecoming and Friday Fun Day

We had an exciting week last week. Students participated in some great dress up days throughout the week. Then, on Tuesday the middle school got to watch Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Harrell Theatre in Collierville, starring our very own Mrs. Jennifer Aycock. The show was wonderful! Then, we enjoyed an all-day Fun Day on Friday. Houses played capture the flag, bounced on inflatables, played games in the gym, and enjoyed pizza for lunch. We also welcomed 5th graders from Harding's Lower School on campus, as a preview of waht they might be doing with us next year. A special shoutout to all of our parents for their support, who helped make a pretty busy day run very smoothly. We couldn't have done it without them! At the end of the day when the points were counted, Stax House won the Fun Day, with River House in a close second. However, Bowie House is still holding on to its lead in the overall standings going in to our last two weeks of the first quarter competition.
We've got a busy week this week as well, with the 6th and 7th grade Bible ceremony on Tuesday. And, we only have two weeks left in the first quarter, so now is the time to be buckling down and finishing strong, before we all get to enjoy some rest over fall break.
