Mrs. King's Encouragers

Well, with one week remaining until Spring Break, and only a few days until the 7th grade leaves for New Orleans, we're about to leave what many people perceive as the toughest quarter behind us. We've had lots of fun outside of class, while in class many of our subject have worked into some of their most complex material. The 7th grade will leave from Harding at 6 AM sharp (following a 5:45 prayer) on Wednesday. We will be praying for a safe, fun, educational trip where our 7th graders create lots of great memories.

Meanwhile, on Thursday of this past week, all middle school students encountered an encouraging surprise on their locker: an encouraging, anonymous note. It was the brainchild of a group of 7th grade students in Mrs. King's Bible class. As part of a class devotional thought, they had their classmates help them write an encouraging note for every middle school student. Then, during homeroom on Thursday, those students posted them on all lockers in the hallway. Middle school students were thrilled to check their locker to see what encouraging note had been left for them. It was a wonderful site to observe all the encouraging post-it notes up and down the hallway. A big thank you to Mrs. King's Bible class, and to the group that created the idea. Bravo!
