Thanksgiving is almost here!

As our Thanksgiving break draws closer, we've had a VERY eventful 2 weeks. It started with getting to watch a fantastic production of Little Mermaid featuring many of our middle schoolers. The show was amazing, and we know they put a lot of hard work into it. Mrs. Jennifer Aycock orchestrated a brilliant production, and announced some exciting news of her own at the end of the Saturday show - there's a Little Aycock on the way! Congrats to Mrs. Aycock!

The next week, our 6th grade SEAL students became "kindness Ninjas" as Mr. Woods's classes snuck and crept around the school building delivering positive, encouraging messages without being seen. Not only was it lots of fun, but it sent a great message about not needing credit for doing something nice. The week continued with the Cherry Road talent show, where many Middle School students showcased their talent for all of upper and middle school. Bravo to these brave souls! Lastly, this week Dr. Frizzell spent some time creating a chapel program with our Cordova 5th graders. They had a great time, and got to spend some time talking to Dr. Frizzell about life in Middle School next year. We can't wait for them to join us!

Now we're just two school days away from Thanksgiving break (and one has a Fun Day in it!), so here's to hoping for a restful weekend for you and yours, and hopefully an excellent Thanksgiving as well!
